"Koloro" gets a new Steam page after cancellation of Steam Greenlight service and it will be released soon. It also has a free video game demo for players to try out.
The video game's store page revealed its details and the requirements needed for it to play on the PC, according to its official website. It tells the story of a little girl who gets lost in a poetic world together with her sister.
Players will be tasked to navigate through the dangerous spiritual world and find the sibling who the main character did not find when they got lost. They can also turn the playable character into a box to somehow scale walls and avoid spikes.
The gameplay is more patient, and makes players think deeply of their strategies, which is opposite to the popular puzzle video game "Super Meat Boy." They will need to think of their actions first and not solely use fast reflexes to avoid dangers. The character will not be able to change directions when they jump and once they have committed to press that button, they will not be able to change it.
"Koloro" features a contrasted and well-thought-out dreamlike graphics style. The scenery is hand-drawn beautifully and it has its own unique original soundtrack exclusively made for it. It also has rich and dynamic background music.
Players will be able to understand the video game easily and enjoy it due to its highly-developed gameplay. It also has great level designs that include different challenging mechanics. These challenges require both skills and deep thought.
The video game will feature more than 200 unique and dangerous levels in four different worlds. Players will fight against huge and fiery bosses along the way.
Players will be able to collect bonuses in order to unlock exclusive content. These contents are alternative endings, artworks, new levels, and music from the soundtrack.
If players want to play with others, they can enjoy the two-players shared-screen mode. It will have specifically made scenarios and level design for them to enjoy together. There will also be a hardcore game mode, which will be available after their first run, and it is specifically made for experienced ones.
On the official website of Game Jolt, Skoll Studio has provided a free game demo of "Koloro" for players to download and play. The game developers warn that it is still in development and the current version might be buggy or incomplete.
