"Hollow Knight" gets a release date with an impressive new trailer for it. Team Cherry has also revealed some game details.
The game developers revealed on the official website of Steam the released date of the video game, which is on Feb. 24 and it will be launched on PC. They have also launched a new trailer, which can be viewed down below, to celebrate their countdown to launch.
Players will be able to explore a wide interconnected world consisting of forgotten highways, overgrown wilds, and cities in ruins. They can choose their own paths in the world of Hallownest, which expansive and open. With the advantage of choosing their own paths, they can choose the enemies they will face and then find their way forward on their own.
The main character can evolve with powerful new skills and abilities that it learns along the way, according to the official Kickstarter page of the video game. Players can learn spells, increase their strength, and speed through experience. They will be able to leap to new heights with wings, dash quickly with the flash move, and blast foes with the fiery Soul attack.
Charms can be equipped for additional stats, and they can offer players some new powers and abilities to use. They can choose their favorites to make their adventure unique throughout the game.
Players will fight over 130 enemies and have 30 epic boss fights, which are composed of ferocious beasts and vanquished ancient knights. They can check their Hunter's Journal to track down every single one of those monsters if they want to.
The protagonist can leap into the minds of other people with the Dream Nail. Players will be able to find a whole other side to these other characters they meet in the video game, and the enemies that they will face. The game's world consists of beautifully painted landscapes, which gives it a unique sense of depth.
Players can chart their journey with useful mapping tools. They will need to buy compasses, quills, maps, and pins to enhance their understanding of the video game's twisted landscapes. When they finish the video game, they can unlock the Steel Soul mode, which is the ultimate challenge with a whole different difficulty level.
"Hollow Knight" can be preordered through the Humble Store for both PC and Mac. They can get this video game for only $14.99.
