The fate of Sansa Stark in 'Game of Thrones" Season 7 has been highly speculated over the past weeks. However, recent revelation coming straight from Sophie Turner reveals that her character will survive to see "GoT" Season 8.
Nothing beats a "GoT" spoiler coming straight from the characters themselves. That is why fans all over the Seven Kingdoms are celebrating upon the news of Sansa's apparent safe future in the hit HBO series. During British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs), Sophie Turner confirmed that her character would live to see Season 8 of the TV series.
"We're about to start shooting the next X-Men, we just finished shooting season 7 of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts, and then we go on to season 8! So I've got a busy year lined up," Turner told Winter Is Coming.
From the carefree statement of Turner, she revealed two significant updates of the series. Although unintentional, Lady Stark just informed "GoT" fans that the shooting of Season 7 has already been done with and that Season 8 would come next along with her character.
Despite the fact Sophie Turner has confirmed the continuous existence of Sansa Stark in "Game of Thrones" Season 8, the exact future of her character remains in the shadows. Unlike Jon Snow who is a warrior, her younger sister Arya an assassin, or Bran a warg, Lady Stark has no first-hand battle experience and superiority.
That being said, an outlandish theory somehow foreshadows the future role of Sansa Stark in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 8. Sansa could woo the Night King, the leader and the first of the White Walkers, according to Bustle.
Such theory may be farfetched, but could also be possible, as Sansa has been known to have experienced dealing with cruel men. In retrospect, Lady Stark has attracted the attention of Joffrey and Ramsay who are both considered as evil and corrupt by most Throners.
