New details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature a Earth 2 version of Eddie Thawne and Jesse Quick vs Savitar fight.
It seems that season 3 main villain Savitar will be facing another speedster in "The Flash" TV series as a leaked behind-the-scenes film shoot teased that Earth 2 speedster Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) will face the self-proclaimed God of Speed.
It is no secret that Jesse Quick will be involved in the plot to defeat Savitar in "The Flash" season 3 as Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) will need her help along with Wally West/Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale), Cisco Ramon/Vibe (Carlos Valdes) and possibly Gypsy (Jessica Camacho).
Jesse returns at end of the previous episode as she enlists the help of Team Flash to save her father, Harrison "Harry" Wells (Tom Cavanagh) from Gorilla Grodd in Gorilla City. Barry along with Cisco, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Julian Albert (Tom Felton) go to Earth 2, but were captured in Gorilla City and there they Barry and the team encounter Grodd, who claims that the city's leader Solovar wants to invade Earth 1.
The episode will also feature Jesse Quick teaming-up with Wally West/Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) who are left in Earth 1 to stop a metahuman who can control gravity with Harrison "H.R." Wells and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) guiding them, IDigital Times reported.
Meanwhile, several rumors are making rounds regarding the return of Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) in "The Flash" season 3.
Executive producer Aaron Elbing teased that the two-part Gorilla City episode will feature other Earth 2 versions of the main cast and the possibility of seeing an Earth 2 version of Eddie is inevitable, Screenrant reported.
Cosnett tweeted his return to "The Flash" season 3, but the cause of his sudden resurrection in the show is left unexplained. Eddie Thawne was inTroduced iN season 1 as Joe West's partner in the CCPD, as well as the first love interest of Iris West, making him Barry Allen's rival for her affection.
Eddie is revealed to be the distant relative of The Flash's ultimate nemesis, Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), who disguised himself as S.T.A.R. Labs founder Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Eddie sacrificed his life to defeat the Reverse-Flash and save Barry.
