"Quantico" executive producer Josh Safran recently opened up about Dayana and how she could the biggest traitor this season.
In an interview with TV Guide, Safran said that he strongly believes Dayana is the mastermind of the recent deeds in the hit ABC series. The exec added that the truth about the character's involvement will be revealed in this week's episode.
Safran also said that there is a possibility that Dayana and Alex will come face to face with each other. More specifically, there is a mission and a timeline that Alex is working on, and he will be able to complete this midway through Season 2.
Meanwhile, Safran also opened up about next Sunday night's episode and guaranteed that everything will be answered towards the end of the installment. A series of flashbacks will also be part of the episode and it will serve as a backtrack for the first nine episodes this season.
"There are outstanding things, but it is like if this had been a 13-episode season, we leave you with enough to launch into a new season except it is just the rest of the season. And it will all be on one timeline. It will be all on one timeline three-quarters of the way through," he said.
Safran added that there will be one massive flashback in Act 6, but it will be cut and left to the interpretation of the fans.
In other news, "Quantico" Season 2, episode 13, titled "EPICSHELTER," will see Alex exposing the identity of the traitor at the CIA. Elsewhere, the recruits are taught how to burn evidences down if they are ever exposed. Meanwhile, a mysterious death will lead to an FBI investigation at the Farm.
Some of the guest stars that will be featured in "Quantico" Season 2, episode 13 include Marcia Cross as President Claire Haas, Henry Czerny as Matthew Keyes, Aaron Diaz as Leon Velez, David Lim as Sebastian Chen, Tracy Ifeachor as Lydia Bates and Jay Armstrong Johnson as Will Olsen.
"Quantico" Season 2, episode 13 will air on ABC on Feb. 20 at 9 p.m. EST.
