Apple's iPhone 8 has not been revealed yet but there are already a number of leaks and rumors circulating the Internet. One new prediction now shows details about the device's screen.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told Mac Rumors that the new iPhone 8 may have a large 5.8-inch OLED screen with virtual buttons instead of the physical ones. It adds up to the previous rumors that Apple will be using LED panels instead of the traditional LCD screens for its new iPhones.

Just like the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the new iPhone 8 is also expected to have its screen cover more than 90 percent of the device's front end. There will be no physical home button but there will be space for the virtual ones at the bottom of the screen itself.

Previous rumors also claimed that the iPhone 8 will have its Touch ID sensor embedded in the display itself. It would help the user unlock the phone faster compared to typing in their password or reaching the sensor at the back. Apple will reportedly introduce a new 3D sensing technology to read fingerprints instantly, according to NDTV.

Since the new iPhone 8 would have new features and a better screen, the price is expected to shoot upwards $1000. An expensive price tag is nothing new for Apple but some customers may need to purchase the phone via mobile plans from carriers. As of this writing, no mobile carrier in the United States or United Kingdom have not announced anything regarding the new smartphone.

Apple is not expected to announce the new iPhone 8 or the iPhone 7s Plus models until Q3 of this year. More leaks, rumors and speculations may surface in the following months leading up to the unveiling.
