Celta Vigo has been mercurial in their past several games with three wins and three losses in their last six outings. The team is currently settled in the 10th spot of the 20-team La Liga table, six points below the final Europa League qualifying berth for next season held by sixth-place team Villarreal and 14 points above the bottom three relegation zone.

The Célticos succumbed to contending squad Atletico Madrid, 2-3, in a high-scoring affair on the road at the Vicente Calderon Stadium last Sunday for their second loss in three games, as per BBC Sport.

Argentine defender Gustavo Cabral scored the game's opening goal in the fifth minute with a header from the left side of the six-yard box following a corner kick. Atletico was then able to level the count six minutes later with a right-footer from Fernando Torres from a cross by Yannick Carrasco.

Head coach Eduardo Berizzo's squad took the lead once more in the 78th minute with a right-footed shot by John Guidetti, but Los Colchoneros netted the next two goals of the contest, courtesy of Carrasco and Antoine Griezmann, to pull off the come-from-behind win.

Meanwhile, Osasuna was routed by current leaders Real Madrid, 1-3, in their most recent match last Saturday at the El Sadar Stadium, Daily Mail Online reported.

Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo broke the game's deadlock in the 24th minute before head coach Petar Vasiljević's side scored their lone goal of the match in the 33rd from a squeezing shot by Sergio Leon between Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.

Real then netted the next two goals with strikes by Isco and Lucas Vazquez in the 62nd and 90th+3 minutes to hand Osasuna their 14th loss in the season.
