According to the GFXBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 is expected to sport a 4.8-inch HD display with 1280x800 pixels resolution. Its touchscreen display will be equipped with a 5-finger gesture support.

Under the hood, the smartphone is armed with 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quad-Core processor, while other reports suggest that the Galaxy Xcover 4 is rumored to power Samsung's Exynos 7570 system-on-chip (SoC). The smartphone will feature a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage onboard, while the phone's graphic unit will run a Mali-T720 GPU.

On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 will feature a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while its front camera is seen with a 5-megapixel camera. The camera sensors will add features such as autofocus, face detection, flash and touch focus.

Other connectivity features in the phone include Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi along with sensors such as an accelerometer, light sensor, and proximity sensor. On the software front, the listing further reveals an Android 7.0 Nougat OS and the company's TouchWiz launcher running in the phone.

However, the listing did not mention anything about Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4's price and its availability.

With the aforementioned GFXBench listing and a previous Wi-Fi certification, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 may hit the shelves soon, following a two-year gap on its predecessor Galaxy Xcover 3.

To recall, the first edition of Galaxy Xcover smartphone with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS was welcomed in the market on 2011, which is followed by the Galaxy Xcover 2 running Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The 2015 Galaxy Xcover 3 came with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed, whereas its Value Edition was released in 2016 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, The Mobile Indian reported.
