A sigh of progress has been made on the eagerly anticipated "Final Fantasy 7 Remake". Game developer Square Enix has recently revealed some significant updates concerning the hit game's remake.
During the Monaco Anime Game International Conference or MAGIC 2017 event, Square Enix director Tetsuya Nomura revealed two new screenshots of the remake's gameplay. The release was also accompanied by new images from the Kingdom Hearts 3, another highly anticipated game sequel.
The said images showcase heroes Cloud and Barret fighting the Guard Scorpion, according to Slash Gear. In retrospect, the Guard Scorpion is one of the enemy bosses of the original "Final Fantasy VII." Based on the revealed images, the details of the characters have been drastically improved. The remake totally changed the details and graphical effects of the game.
On the other hand, the second image of the anticipated remake showcases Cloud taking cover behind a crate while taking fire from an enemy soldier. As compared to its previous form, the more advanced form of Cloud is considerably minimal but sleeker.
Apart from the visual improvements of the upcoming "Final Fantasy" game, the developer also assured that a lot of attention was given to the battle system of the game. Things can happen with a little interruption, according to Siliconera.
As a refresher for those who forgot the game background and for those wanting to enjoy the game through the remake for the first time, "Final Fantasy VII" is the seventh main installment in the "Final Fantasy" series. The action role-playing game was first released in 1997 for PlayStation console.
The game was supposedly intended for the Super NES, but due to some difficulties, the developer decided to move with PlayStation instead. The original storyline of the game follows the mercenary Cloud Strife as he fights the corrupt Shinra megacorporation. Together with eco-terrorist group Avalanche, Strife will have to deal with the corporation and the former Shinra soldier Sephiroth.
