One of the most important parts of survival in this open-world survival video game is to forage and gather resources, according to PlayStation Universe. Players should be filling up their medicine pouch, collect plants, and all types of material for crafting helpful items for their long journey.
Players should be picking up everything that they see when going through their journey. They should particularly find some Ridge-Wood because it is a vital resource, and they can be found usually alongside river beds. Medicinal salvebrush will come in handy when they will run out of health potions since they can be crafted into medicine that can recover health points.
During travels, players should light up every camp fire they come across. This can come in handy especially if they have any fast travel packs, which can allow them to return to any lit campfire from the map, and it will save them valuable time.
The first creature that players can override is a Strider, which is a must for travelling long distances. Sneak up to them while they are grazing and they will be able to ride one like a horse. Tallnecks should be overridden too since when they climb on top of them, they can see all of the vital points in the area.
To craft ammo quickly, use the weapon wheel instead of the main sub-menu. Players can just highlight the weapon and hold down the X button to craft. They still have to gather enough resources for crafting these items, so better stock up first.
Set a job for a task like creating a particular item, which will help players track the collection of resources they will need. They will need to press the square button to track the collection of these particular resources.
During hunts and battles in "Horizon: Zero Dawn," it is imperative for players to tag their targets by tapping the R3 to keep track of them, according to Games Radar.
