For those who have already pre-ordered the video game from Japanese stores, the game company is offering to upgrade it to a limited edition version for free. Those who have pre-ordered the game before its local release will get the chance to have this great deal.

The physical limited edition of the video game will have the Nora Lookout Outfit + Bow + Nora Machine Trapper Pack, the Carja Storm Ranger Outfit + Bow + Carja Trader Pack, the Banuk Trailblazer Outfit + Bow + Banuk Traveler Pack, an exclusive PlayStation 4 theme, and a physical artbook called The Art of Horizon Zero Dawn. According to the official website of PlayStation, the digital limited edition will be the same except for the artbook, which will be digital.

Both the physical and digital limited editions will be sold at $59 with taxes in Japan. This is also the same asking price for the standard edition. The only issue for the fans in the country is that they will not have the chance to purchase the Collector's Edition that has the 9 inch Aloy Statue by Gentle Giant.

Sony Interactive Entertainment is trying its best to promote this game locally in Japan. They want at least this video game developed by western developer Guerilla to be successful. Open world games have also become more popular in Japan recently.

In other "Horizon: Zero Dawn" related news, game creator Hideo Kojima tweeted that he got a special LEGO set. He showcased the contents and the finished product after constructing the Tallneck machine. Recently, he teamed up with the video game's developers for his upcoming video game, "Death Stranding," and used their game engine for it.
