The latest details for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature the confirmed release date of the DLC pack 2 and two story arcs coming in the sequel soon.
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the release date for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's" second DLC pack on Feb. 28 as the DLC pack 2 will contain several list of new items and features within the game.
Two playable characters are added in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" Universe 6's God of Destruction Champa and his Angel tenant Vados, a new playable stage the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 arena, eight new attacks, three new costumes, the Saiyan Space pod and new Super Souls and Emotes.
In addition, Bandai Namco will launch free DLC features for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" on Feb. 27, which includes five new costumes based from the "Dragon Ball" OVA films such as Meral Cooler, Zangya and Bido. There are also five new attacks added to the game such as Focus Flash, Jumping Energy Wave, Menacing Flare, Tail Slice and Wild Hunt.
Two expert modes are added featuring Broly and Janemba. Lastly, new rules are now applied in the Tenkaichi Tournament, such as the “Character” Tenkaichi, where all players will have to play the same character, or the “Group” Tenkaichi, where all players can only choose characters from a specific group, such as a “GT Cup”, Saiyan Island reported.
In other news, Bandai Namco Entertainment will likely make more story expansions for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" this year based from the numerous arcs being presented in the franchise current anime series "Dragon Ball Super".
Game producer Masayuki Hirano stated the publisher's desire to bring in contents from "Dragon Ball Super" to the game. Hirano also pointed out that they are looking into the possibilities of incorporating future contents based on community suggestions.
The upcoming DLC pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be based on the "Universe 6 vs Universe 7 Tournament" arc and there are also upcoming characters like Zamasu, Super Saiyan Rose Black and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, which teased that the "Future Trunks" saga will potentially be addedand more likely the "Universe Survival" arc coming soon in future updates, iTech Post reported.
The "Universe Survival" arc in "Dragon Ball Super" will of all of the fighters from their respective 12 universes and compete each other in a universe expanding tournament hosted by the Omni-Kings Zen-Oh. Universe 7's fighters will include Son Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, Master Roshi, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 18, Android 17 and Majin Buu.
The new arc will also feature the Gods of Destruction from the 12 universes along with the Kaioshin and there Angel tenants.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently available in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
