The latest updates for "Injustice 2" will feature Black Adam coming to the roster and a new character announcement this week.
It seems that another DC character will be joining "Injustice 2" this week as NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. teased that the next fighter be revealed on Feb. 23. This comes after that the closed beta test for "Injustice" will end on Feb. 21.
Game producer Ed Boon added that NetherRealm Studios will not likely conduct an open beta test for "Injustice 2" anytime soon. Warner Bros. Games thanked the gamers who participated in the close beta for "Injustice 2", stating that the developers will now be taking their time to implement the necessary changes within the sequel.
However, the team has not yet revealed what aspects are being changed or improved in the game as they received tons of details from fans, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
Meanwhile, new clues on the next DC character appearing in "Injustice 2" have been revealed as someone from Reddit posted several pictures of the famous cities in the DC Universe.
In the screenshots in the post points out an operation that was featured in the beta of "Injustice 2", which featured a "Search and Rescue" in the land of Kahndaq. Comic book fans who are aware of Kahndaq, it is an Arab country on the continent of Africa that is ruled by the anti-hero, Black Adam.
Could this mean that Black Adam will return in "Injustice 2", let alone be the next character that NetherRealm Studios announce this week.
NetherRealm Studios recently launched four new characters in "Injustice 2" such as Swamp Thing, Catwoman, Cheetah and Poison Ivy. Not to mention, Cyborg, Green Lantern, The Flash and Scarecrow were featured in the mobile version of the game.
Joining them are Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Robin, Deadshot, Black Canary, Harley Quinn, Bane, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus, Braniac and Darkseid. Plus, two guest characters and the Watchmen in the game.
NetherRealm Studios will continue to give out more game details for "Injustice 2" possibly in the EVO 2017 and in the Community Effort Orlando or CEO 2017 event.
"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
