When "Jurassic World 2" hits movie theaters in 2018, avid fans will see a slew of familiar faces such as Chris Pratt, as well as new cast members. Latest spoiler news teased of the film's new London based location including the movie's potential storyline.
The first installment of "Jurassic World" became one of 2015's hit movies given its unique re-telling of the story depicted in the Jurassic Park" franchise. Despite the sequel's impending release, details about "Jurassic World 2" have been sparse aside from a few casting updates.
Pratt, along with Bryce Dallas Howard and B.D. Wong, are set to reprise their roles as Owen, Claire and Dr. Wu, respectively. Fans can also expect to see several new faces in the upcoming film such as James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall and "The Originals" star Daniella Pineda. However, details of the new cast members' roles have yet to be unveiled.
Latest news also teased of the film's working title namely "Ancient Futures" that hinted of the sequel's potential plot line. In a movie production list posted on My Entertainment World, the synopsis for the sequel teased of the dinosaurs being used as a weapon by the government.
The said plot was already hinted in the first installment of the film where Owen and Claire found the dinosaur eggs removed from the lab and Hoskins (Vincent D'Onofrio) revealing his plans to use the InGen technology for military purposes. It appears that beloved characters will be forced to go back to the Jurassic World theme park to protect the remaining animals from being turned into weaponized dinosaurs.
Apart from the storyline, the said listing also included the movie's various filming locations that included Hawaii, London, as well as Wales. However, it is still unclear if the said leaked plot is accurate, showrunners have yet to comment on the said news.
Meanwhile, an "Ancient Futures" filming notice sent to residents and business owners near Slough's Langley Business Center several miles outside of London revealed the movie's shooting schedule. In the said letter, as obtained by Jurassic Outpost, the said production's Feb. 23, Thursday, filming schedule was highlighted, as well as its accumulated 11 shooting days in Slough that will transpire until June.
