Exciting events are set to happen in the upcoming "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 episode 14 as beloved characters are faced with several changes, as well as the consequences of their decisions. Latest spoiler news teased of Alex's (Justin Chambers) return to the hospital after being cleared from a legal case, while Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) will have a tense discussion about executive decisions.
Avid viewers of the ABC medical series were shocked when Bailey suspended Meredith and gave the said surgeon's job to April (Sarah Drew). Featured in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 episode 12, Meredith's move to ban Eliza (Marika Dominczyk) from her operating room resulted in Bailey's decision to suspend her friend for an indefinite period.
However, in the upcoming "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 episode 14, Meredith's suspension from Grey Sloan hospital might come to an end. A teaser clip posted on Spoilers Guide featured Bailey's surprise visit at Meredith's home where she tried to discuss the said doctor's career options.
The two women's discussion will also tackle Bailey's decisions that included replacing Richard (James Pickens Jr.) with Eliza as the head of the hospital's residency program. With Meredith highlighting how it was the wrong move, Bailey appears unaffected with her friend's explanation and cited the difference between stubbornness and loyalty.
Despite the two doctors' tense meeting, Bailey will be pressured by her mentor Richard to bring Meredith back to Grey Sloan. The former residency program chief will also try to convince the suspended doctor to fight back and regain her rightful place at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the said episode will also feature Alex trying to adjust to the many changes at Grey Sloan. Eliza and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) will also start to bond although Arizona will still try to put some distance between her and her new friend.
The development of the said two characters' relationship will be slow given the various professional challenges that Eliza will face at Grey Sloan. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dominczyk commented on how the new residency program head will have to deal with a "crazy uphill battle" at the hospital.
