Seth Rollins is currently out with a knee injury following an attack by Samoa Joe three weeks ago. His status for WrestleMania 33 is still up in the air but he is expected to make an announcement regarding his health next week on Monday Night Raw.
Rollins has been looking to get his hands on Triple H since the year started and he finally got a chance three weeks ago. However, Samoa Joe came out of nowhere and attacked "The Architect" that caused a legitimate injury.
According to WWE.com, Rollins suffered a torn MCL in his surgically-repaired right knee. It was the second knee injury for the two-time WWE champion as he tore his ACL in the same knee in November 2015 during a house show in Europe.
The report added that Rollins is expected to be out for six to eight weeks and his status for WrestleMania is in doubt. However, the WWE has not ruled him out for WrestleMania 33 so he could be healthy before the big event.
The WWE devised a lot of backup plans just in case Rollins will not be fully healthy by WrestleMania 33. But it seems like the company is moving forward with Seth Rollins vs. Triple H at WrestleMania since no other storylines were introduced in the last three weeks.
According to What Culture, Rollins is expected to appear on Monday Night Raw next week and make an announcement. Although he's only going to be live via satellite and not on the venue itself at Green Bay, Wisconsin.
It is noted that Rollins making an appearance on Raw next week is a great sign that he will return just in time. He is surely going to address Samoa Joe and Triple H next week and he'll probably challenge "The Game" in a match at WrestleMania 33.
However, it should be noted that nothing has been confirmed at the moment. Rollins could also end up announcing that he will miss WrestleMania for the second straight year. Nevertheless, fans have to tune in next week to know what Rollins has to say regarding his injury.
