In the 2016 Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun's starer "The Legend of the Blue Sea," a scene showed Jeju Island's Maze Land theme park. The island's scenic views were also showcased in TV dramas "Warm and Cozy," "Secret Garden," "Playful Kiss" and "All In."
This year, Jeju island which is visa-free is luring tourists from its neighboring Southeast Asia, Europe and Middle East, Manila Bulletin reported. It provides visitors with amazing experiences, such as vast nature and leisure sports activities.
Jeju has several scenic locations that serve as perfect settings for romantic films. The place is worth visiting for a great photo spot or to relive the scenes from Korean dramas like Lee and Jun's recent fantasy series. Some of Jeju's romantic sites are the lighthouses in Pyeoseon and Bangdupo, with the latter being the site of the Wishing Lighthouse, Seaes Hotel and Resort and Bomnal Café, according to Jeju Tourism Organization's travel blog.
Jeju's Seongsan Ilchulbong aka Sunrise Peak, in Seogwipo City is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Its main attraction is its crater at the peak formed 5,000 years earlier. Sunrise Peak is among Jeju's 380 volcanic cones and was the filming site of "Queen In Hyun's Man" starring Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In Na.
