Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) and Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) recently kissed in The CW series "Riverdale" although their original versions in the "Archie" comics were not romantically involved. Recently, Reinhart discussed what viewers can look forward to in the future for the two characters.
"I think they begin to learn a lot more about each other's family histories and family life, especially when Betty finds out about Jughead's homelessness," Reinhart told Too Fab. "And it's kind of beautiful to see Betty accept Jughead's past and conquer it with him."
On the other hand, Reinhart made it clear that fans should not give up on the romance between Betty and Archie Andrews (K.J. Apa). The actress pointed out that in a way, Betty and Archie are currently going off into their own little romantic endeavors rather than with each other.
On the other hand, Sprouse told Comic Book that Jughead would say romantic and cute things with an appreciation for Betty. For the actor, it has become clear that "Riverdale" producer Roberto Aguirrer-Sacasa has taken off with that.
Joining Reinhart, Sprouse and Apa in the "Riverdale" cast are Trevor Stines as Jason Blossom, Tiera Skovbye as Polly Cooper, Rob Raco as Joaquin, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Marisol Nicols as Hermione Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Madchen Amick as Alice Cooper and Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Hayley law as Valerie Brown, Asha Bromfield as Melody Valentine, Reese Alexander as Myles McCoy, Robin Givens as Mayor Sierra McCoy, Martin Cummins as Sherrif Keller, Casey Scott as Kevin Keller, Cody Kearsley as Moose Mason, Nelson Wong as Dr. Phylum, Daniel Davis Yang as Dilton Doiley, Skeet Ulrich as FP Jones and Ross Butler as Reggie Mantle, among others.
