In "The Voice" Season 12 premiere, JChosen performed Marvin Gaye's song "Sexual Healing," which helped him earn a spot in the team of Blake Shelton's girlfriend Gwen Stefani. Another contestant is reportedly performing another song by Gaye.
R&B singer Kawan Debose will appear in "The Voice" Season 12 episode 4. He will sing "Let's Get It On" by Gaye.
This makes Debose the second artist to perform a song by Gaye in "The Voice" Season 12. Debose can be contacted via his official website.
Unfortunately for Debose, his fate is not the same as that of JChosen, who turned the chairs of all four coaches. Joining Shelton and Stefani as coaches of "The Voice" Season 12 are Adam Levine and Alicia Keys.
Debose was able to impress Stefani, Shelton and Levine. However, Keys did not turn but said she wishes she would have, according to AXS.
This also makes Debose the sixth "The Voice" Season 12 contestant to turn three coaches' chairs. So far, only five out of 23 contestants failed to pass the blind auditions in this season.
Rumors claim that like JChosen, Debose will choose Stefani as his coach. Tune in to NBC on March 6, Monday, at 8 p.m. to see if the rumors are true.
