Supermodel Stephanie Roberts' daughter Cory Anne Roberts, 19, from Los Angeles, California, made it to the finale of "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 23. However, she failed to beat India Gants, 20, from Seattle, Washington, and Tatiana Price, 21, from Queens, New York.
Before Gants was declared the "ANTM" Cycle 23 winner with Price as the runner-up, producer Ken Mok was asked how the three reflect what the "ANTM" brand has become in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. The producer said the "ANTM" contestants today are a lot more focused today than the contestants on the earlier seasons, who were pure models aiming to get an agency behind them to work internationally.
For Mok, Cory Anne, Gants and Price are three distinct models. He noted that Cory Anne is "kind of in the middle" of Gants and Price.
"She's got the whole package in terms of modeling experience, and has a great personality as well," Mok said of Corry Anne. For the producer, the supermodel's daughter has great pedigree considering that her mother was a very famous model.
Corry Anne does like it when people associate her with her mother. The "ANTM" Cycle 23 second runner-up grew up in Bali, Indonesia with her father while her mother was in the United States.
In an interview with Daily Bruin, Corry Anne said she looks up to her mother, who had a once-in-a-lifetime career. In the early 1990s, ger mother appeared on the covers of fashion magazines including Vogue and Marie Claire.
Before the "ANTM" Cycle 23 finale, which aired on VH1 on March 8, Wednesday, Courtney Nelson, 25, became the last contestant to be eliminated making Cory Anne, Price and Gants the final three contestants. The other eliminated contestants are Justine Biticon, 18, Marissa Hopkins, 18, Giah Hardeman, 21, Paige Mobley, 22, Kyle McCoy, 23, Cherish Waters, 25, Krislian Rodriguez, 25, Binta Dibba, 25, Tash Wells 26, and Cody Wells, 26.
