K-pop boy band BTS member Kim Seok Jin, 24, who is professionally known as Jin, has recently graduated from Konkuk University. This is the same university where Lee Min Ho, 29, studied Film and Art.
Jin studied Drama in Konkun University. His graduation ceremony took place on Feb. 22, which coincided with the 6th GAON Chart K-Pop Awards. The BTS member attended the awards ceremony so he missed his graduation ceremony.
Held at the Jamshil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul, the 6th GAON Chart K-Pop Awards was hosted by Super Junior's Lee Teuk and MAMAMOO's Solar. BTS won two awards, which are the V LIVE Global Popularity award and Artist of the Year for quarterly album sales in the fourth quarter.
At the 6th GAON Chart K-Pop Awards, girl groups dominated digital music while boy bands beat them in album sales. EXO won four awards, which are the Artist of the Year award for quarterly album sales in the second and third quarter and the Artist of Fan Choice award for both the individual and group categories while their songwriter Jo Yoon Kyung was named Songwriter of the Year.
After graduating from Konkuk University, Jin is pursuing a post-graduate education. He and EXO member Kim Jong Dae, 24, who is professionally known as Chen, enrolled in the Graduate School of Hanyang University, Korea Herald reported.
As for Lee, it appears that he still has no plans to go to graduate school. There is still no news about his next project after "The Legend of the Blue Sea" either.
On the big screen, Lee's most recent project is "Bounty Hunters," a Chinese-South Korean-Hong Kong co-production. Directed by Shin Terra, the film also starred Louis Fan, Jones Xu, Tiffany Tang, Wallace Chung and Karena Ng, who will star with K-Pop girl group f(x) member Victoria Song in the 2018 film "Legend of the Ancient Sword," Yahoo reported.
