Samsung has officially released another flagship under the "C" series. The latest Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone went available for pre-orders in the company's Chinese website at 2499 yuan (Ra 24,000 approx).
The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone is generally marketed as a mid-range device. What makes the smartphone a little superior is its high-end processor and 1080p display. Outside, the C5 Pro is built on a metal unibody chassis, while antenna lines appeared on top and bottom of the back cover, NDTV reported.
In addition, the USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker are sitting at the bottom of the device. The volume rocker is placed on the left edge, while the power button is at the right frame.
According to Indian Express, the Galaxy C5 Pro will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, resulting to 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will sport a Snapdragon 625 octa-core Cortex-A53 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, alongside a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
In the optics department, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will feature a 16-megapizel primary rear camera with auto-focus, f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. As an added feature, the rear sensor supports Full HD (1920 x 1080) video recording at 30 fps. Up front, the camera sensor is a 16-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture.
The phone's battery capacity houses a 2,600mAh battery, which the company claims to offer up to 96 hours of standby time. On the software front, the smartphone runs an Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware, while its capsule-like home button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
For the connectivity options, the Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone include USB Type-C and 3.5 mm stereo jack. On the other hand, the wireless connectivity supports GPS, Glonass, Beidou, ANT+, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4 + 5GHz and NFC.
The following are sensors on the C5 Pro such as acceleration sensor, fingerprint reader, gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor, proximity sensor and RGB light sensor. The Galaxy C5 Pro also supports Samsung Pay. Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro measures 145.7 x 71.4 x 7 mm and weighs 145 grams.
