Male Singaporeans with singing talent who want to audition for a spot in Hunan V’s “Super Boy” reality singing competition have until April 15 to submit their applications. The show would hold an open audition for the first time in Singapore.
How to Apply
The contest is open to males ages between 18 and 30. They should apply by sending a recent photo, demo recording and personal details such as English and Chinese name, age, contact details and music background to 2017superboyeevaproductions@gmail.com, Straits Times reported.
The open auditions is co-organized by Hunan TV, a Chinese TV station, and Eeva Productions owned by Eeva Chang Mei Hsiang, a radio DJ. It is not the first time that Chang has organized a Singapore open audition. Eeva Productions had previously conducted one for “Sing! China,” another TV reality singing contest in China.
Hunan TV had another reality show for females, “Super Girl” that aired from 2004 through 2006. The TV station called “Super Boy” “Chao Ji Nan Sheng” or “Super Male” in 2003 and 2004 which was held in China. It was changed to “Kuai Le Nan Sheng” or “Happy Male Voice” when it aired in 2007, 2010 and 2013.
