Xiaomi, is often known as China's Apple among its loyal patrons and the company is all set to make this claim true. They are planning to introduce an all new smartwatch which will be designed to provide a stiff competition to the newly unveiled Apple Watch.
In the recent WWDC 2015 conference, Apple launched their smart watch and confirmed that customers will be able to purchase it from April 24th onwards. Similarly, Motorola and Samsung have their own watch products. Xiaomi is planning to cash in on this new popularity and launch a product of their own to compete.
Based on the news revealed by GSM Arena, the upcoming Xiaomi Smart Watch will sport a large dial and will come integrated with pulse waves that power velocity identification. Users no longer have to use passcodes or finger prints but can use their pulse waves to unlock their watch.
The product will be constructed using brushed metal and is expected to be really thin. It is also confirmed that it will feature a round dial because consumer reviews confirmed that they love the design more than anything else. The biggest advantage of the product is that it will be priced really low, in the lines of previous Xiaomi products.
Xiaomi has not officially revealed any information with regards to the smartwatch that competes against the Apple watch but it is expected to be announced before their competitor brings the product to the market in April, according to Android Headlines.
The company is also working on a Mi band which will add up to the watch as an accessory that helps users track their health and fitness schedule much easier. Being high on specifications and low on pricing has paved way for success which is what Xiaomi relies on, for their smart watches, as well.
