After releasing posters for both the mainstays (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Hulk and Blackwidow) and the latest members (Scarlett Witch & Quick Silver) of the Avengers, Marvel has now released the poster of the main villain of the "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron," Ultron Prime.

The villainous offshoot of Tony Stark's ambitious attempt to revive a "dormant peacekeeping program," Ultron Prime, who suddenly achieves free-will, poses a new challenge to the Earth's mightiest heroes and serious threat to all humanity as he tries to exterminate all living entity on the planet.

For the first time, fans will have a closer look at Ultron Prime's mechanical body (with red lights emanating from within) built to absorb all kinds of punishment and take down those who dare to stand on his way.

For Adam Chitwood of Collider, Ultron's sinister appearance on the poster is just a part of the overall makeup of the main villain. James Spader, who is known for playing eccentric characters in his previous movies, is expected to give a darker aura surrounding Ultron's personality in the film.

"I think one of the things I'm looking forward to the most is seeing James Spader take on such a fascinating character. The guy is a pro at chewing scenery, so I'm curious to see if that translates to a motion-capture performance. The glimpses of Ultron in action we've seen thus far have been promising, and the prospect of Spader spewing Whedon-penned dialogue is reason enough to buy a ticket," according to the Collider.

Ironically, Ultron's poster went public weeks after Hot Toys released photos showing the prototype model of its upcoming action figure of Ultron Prime.

According to IGN, the collectible figure stands 41cm and features a battery-operated light up LED for Ultron's red eyes and body. It also has another pair of hands with movable fingers along with more than 30-points of articulations. Of course, it won't be complete without the Avengers logo as its stand.

Although "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" will hit the silver screen on May 1, it may take some time before Ultron Prime will be available on the market, as Hot Toys announced that they will release the 'sweet' collectible around late 2015 or early 2016.
