Fifteen people were recently killed and at least 75 were injured in the brutal attack on the Youhanabad, Lahore Church during prayer time.

Tehreek Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack. The two Taliban suicide bombers blew themselves in front of two churches which were located a half kilometer apart. This community was home to more than 100,000 people.

Two policeman were killed by the suicide bombers, Dawn News reported. The police spokesperson Nabila Ghazanfar said, "Policeman on duty on both entrances tried to stop them but the bomber blew himself up. The furious Mob beat two of the people who were suspected associates of terrorist to death.'' 

To show their anger and frustration, both of the terrorists were burnt.  

Up to 5000 Christian's rose up for protests later that day, armed with hockey sticks and other tools of destructions. The.The community nearly blemished everything in their path including the metro station which is a signature project of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. 

The Christians nearly make up around two percent of Pakistan's huge population. In recent years they have been on the hit list of radical organizations such as TTP (Tehreek Taliban Pakistan). The main issue now is the blasphemy law over which hundred's of Christian's have been killed in recent years. 

The government is being targeted for not securing the rights of minorities.In a statement ,Nawaz Sharif has ordered the provincial government to ensure the safety of the public and their property. This was the second major attack on the Christian community since 2013 which nearly killed 85 people. The TTP and its affiliates have continuously tried to aggravate the feelings of minorities. 

The Muslim community responded to the paid visits of condolences to the grieving Christian families. The Sindh government had announced Monday as a day of mourning.

In response to the incident PMLN leader Rana Mashood declared Christians as his own brothers who should be treated without any discrimination, Yahoo News reported.
