Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin was recently spotted having a good time with the actress Kate Hudson on Malibu beach. The two were accompanied by their respective kids, who played together in the sun, giving the impression of a big happy family.
Martin, who got separated from the actress Gwyneth Paltrow last year, seemed to be enjoying the sun and sand in the company of "Almost Famous" star, TMZ reported. The 35-year-old mother of two displayed her enviable abs in a tribal print bikini, while the singer tried to keep a low profile in the black wetsuit and black cap.
Martin and Hudson are also reported to be gym buddies. The two usually work out together and are often spotted at Tracy Anderson in Studio City.
"Chris and Kate go to the gym together - and that's just one of the activities they like to do," Hollywood Life quoted an unnamed source.
Hudson is also a long time friend of Paltrow. It seems that the latter is playing cupid here and is trying to hook up her best friend with her ex-husband. Hudson and her fiance Matthew Bellamy broke off their engagement on December 2014.
Since his 'conscious uncoupling' from Paltrow, Martin is often linked with some or the other beauties of Hollywood. Last year, the 38-year-old English musician was reported to be dating the actress Jennifer Lawrence for a brief period of time.
Lawrence was spotted at almost every Coldplay performance, lip syncing with Martin the whole time while he used to be on stage. The "Hunger Games" star was also spotted backstage with Martin several times. Their rumored relationship, however, ended by December and the singer spent the Christmas festivities with Paltrow and his kids.
