Katy Perry recently posted a cryptic photo wearing a necklace that has a pendant that spells out the word "mom" and her fans are freaking out over the possibility that the star is expecting.
The "Roar" crooner posted the photo of her touching the pendant but showing only her full lips and uploaded it on March 17 without any caption at all. The fans who caught wind of the photo are asking about Perry being pregnant but the pop star did not respond for any comment regarding the circulating rumor.
The 30-year-old singer's latest photo is very suspicious since there is no confirmation as to who she is dating but rumors started that she has been seeing DJ Diplo since last year. Also, she was seen reuniting with singer John Mayer since February this year so the guessing game about who the father is to her possibly unborn child has begun.
According to Hollywood Life, a source close to Perry shared that her close knit group of friends are saying that Perry is already two months along and that it might be Mayer since it was reported that he and Perry tried to give it a second chance. If the rumors are true, Perry might already be three months along and it is mostly the time when soon-to-be moms share the great news.
However, Perry's fans called the Katycats noted that the necklace was for them because they refer to Perry as their "mother" just like Lady Gaga's fans called the monsters referring to the singer as their Mother Monster. In a report by Fish Wrapper, the fans of Perry pointed out that Perry was not expecting and dismissed rumors that there was a bun in the oven.
Perry did not yet comment on the statements of her fans or if the reports are true.
