Park Myung Soo's Radio Show Interview With TWICE's Dahyun And Tzuyu Deemed Inappropriate, Angers Fans

K-pop girls' group TWICE recently dropped their latest track "SCIENTIST." After that, as expected, the members have been promoting the song on various shows and platforms.

Recently, Dahyun and Tzuyu of TWICE appeared on "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show", which is hosted by Park Myung Soo. However, the interview did not go down well with fans and the audience at large. The host has come under fire for his inappropriate attitude and behavior towards the two guests who graced his show. 

The duo from TWICE appeared on the show on November 17 to discuss the track "Scientist". However, instead of focussing the questions on the song, which was to be promoted, the host asked unrelated questions and made inappropriate comments. 

Park Myung Soo went on calling Tzuyu a foreigner and asked her many times whether he was able to understand the language and what he was saying. Born in Taiwan, Tzuyu has lived in South Korea for many years and can speak the language fluently.

The host also seemed a bit pushy and went on interrupting his two guests, without even letting them complete their sentences, while they were trying to speak. 

Fans also noticed that some of the questions that the host was putting forth were awkward and unsuitable, especially concerning the purpose for which the two members of TWICE were there. Park Myung Soo asked the two stars if they would wait for their boyfriend if they were going through their mandatory military service. Both Dahyun and Tzuyu looked visibly uncomfortable with the questions.

Such questions were found to be unnecessary by fans, especially because K-pop stars do not really talk about their personal love life. Moreover, the two TWICE members, being interviewed, are idols for many around the world, and talking about dating and relations is considered somewhat of a taboo by K-pop celebrities. 

It is not the first time that Park Myung Soo has faced criticism regarding his behavior toward female celebrities. He was also under fire in 2018, when viewers thought he didn't behave well with TvN show "Salty Tour"'s female cast members. 

Fans called the host horrid and online communities and social media platforms are flooded with fan posts asking JYP Entertainment to not send any member of TWICE to Park Myung Soo's show in the future.
