The pre-release track "People Pt.2" was unveiled on the 7th at 1 PM and features pop R&B beats with a focus on boom-bap rhythms. Suga's rap is complemented by IU's vocals, adding weight to the song. The collaboration between Suga and IU, who previously worked together on "Eight" in 2020, once again showcases their musical synergy.

In "People Pt.2," Agust D, Suga's other artistic identity, shares candid thoughts on relationships and emotions, such as love, breakups, fears, and sadness. The song is a follow-up to Agust D's story in "People," a track from his 2020 mixtape 'D-2.' At the end of the music video, Suga revealed that he wrote the song while thinking about losing everything due to the pandemic, leaving a lasting impression on listeners.

Since last year, BTS members have been releasing solo albums one after another, focusing on their individual colors and expanding their musical spectrum. Starting with J-Hope, followed by Jin, RM, and Jimin, each member has been able to showcase their unique style. In particular, Jimin made history by reaching the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 as a solo K-pop artist.

Suga's solo work allows him to express deeper stories that might not fit within the group's albums. As a skilled producer, Suga is more clearly revealing his true self in his music, heightening anticipation for the full solo album.

The music video for "People Pt.2" shows Suga immersed in his music, working diligently in his home and studio. Portraying moments of solitude and reflection, the video captures a more intimate side of Suga, closer to the person Min Yoongi than the performer on stage.

The lyrics of "People Pt.2" provide an honest reflection on feelings of loss and the fleeting nature of things. Suga's words address uncertainties about the future, sadness, and fears, leaving listeners with a profound sense of emotion:

So time is yet now

Right here to go

I know you know

Anything does know

So time is yet now

Right here to go

Nobody doesn't know anymore
