Model Kendall Jenner has come down strongly on a publication for wrongful reporting about her father Bruce Jenner. Kendall clarified in a series of tweets that she has never spoken anything about her father's rumoured gender transformation to any of the publications.
On March 18, Wednesday, Us Weekly found itself in a mess when Kendall accused them for publishing false and a cooked up report.
"Shame on US Weekly for making up quotes," tweeted the 19-year-old star. " I NEVER said those things. I never spoke to them."
Kendall sounded disturbed in another tweet in which she wondered how any one can quote anything wrongly and publish it as well. US weekly had run a cover story on Wednesday saying that Kendall has broken silence and confirmed the impending rumored gender transformation of her father.
"He's a wonderful man. And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful," Us Weekly quoted Kendall. " I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman."
According to Us weekly, Kendall gave the statement while speaking with reporters backstage at Comedy Central's Roast on Justin Bieber shot on March 14. The statement soon went viral and was claimed as the first official statement by a family member of the former Olympian, confirming the rumours about his gender transition.
Kendall reportedly got furious and took to Twitter to slam the publication. The speculations about Bruce has been in news lately due to the reports claiming that the fomer athlete is planning a gender transition to become a woman.
However, neither Bruce nor anyone else from his family has directly addressed the issue in public. Bruce is reported to be called a family meeting where he admitted in front of his daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and step daughters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian about the issue. The meeting is rumored to filmed on camera to be shown in the 10th season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashian."
