India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that he has a "God-gifted" fashion sense, The Wall Street Journal has learned.
In his newly released biography, Modi wrote, "God has gifted me the sense of mixing and matching colors... Since I'm God gifted I fit well in everything. I have no fashion designer but I am happy to hear that I dress well'."
"The Modi Effect: Inside Narendra Modi's Campaign To Transform India'' is written by the well-known writer Lance Prince. The book mentions Modi's thoughts about him as well as his social media presence.
The book was a result of constant devotion and curiosity. It was mainly based on the meetings with Modi after his successful action campaign. It also explains the hidden thoughts of Narendra Modi about his campaign.
An excerpt in the book describes Modi as "a man in his mid-sixties with glasses, grey hair and a beard is not everybody's idea of a fashion icon."
Modi has been the center of attention recently for wearing a formal striped suit that had his name all over it.There is no doubt that Modi is a self loving person who pays a lot of attention towards his dressing.
This famous dress was worn in front of the United States President Barack Obama so it was a showpiece from the Indian government. It was the first time that an important politician has wore such a dress. Obama has also commented on Modi's dress by saying, "So he's tough. And he also has style," Dawn News reported.
Modi has been known to change his dressing according to the occasion. He has a vast variety of cultural dresses in his wardrobe including cultural shawls and the famous Choridaar Pajama.
