Music icon Madonna steps into the limelight as she joins the dispute against Italian couture Dolce and Gabanna.
The iconic pop star has recently joined the feud against the Italian designers by posting a picture on Intragram, The Huffington Post reported.
The picture shows an image of the star posing with a baby. This was taken from the star's previous 2010 Dolce & Gabanna ad.
The material girl expressed on her caption:"All babies contain a soul however they come to this earth and their families. There is nothing synthetic about a soul!!"
Though the pop icon didn't went too far to the point of boycotting the label, her statement pointed out a serious message towards the designers.
"Think before you speak." She concluded ending with a hashtag "#livingforlove".
The call for the label's boycott was lead by Elton John after the controversial comments made by the Italian designers regarding gay families and synthetic babies.
This was soon followed by "America's Next Top Model" judge Kelly Cutrone after the Italian fashion design clothing line released a controversial ad.
In their defense, Domenico Dolce stated that the comments he made were highly influenced by his Sicilian upbringing.
"I'm Sicilian and I grew up in a traditional family, made up of a mother, a father and children" the Italian designer explains.
Madonna expressing her comments and joining the feud against Dolce & Gabanna is seen to affect her relationship with John. Style News reports.
The two were both involved on a feud after John accused the pop icon to be lip-synching.
