Country singer Jason Aldean has just gotten married with his best-friend-turned-fiancée Brittany Kerr in a romantic wedding ceremony in Mexico. The proposal took place last September, only two months after their romance started, according to Us Weekly.
“My man did it again,” Kerr wrote on social media after Aldean popped the question. “Today was amazing.”
Now that the couple has officially tied the knot, Aldean has shared that his Mexico wedding ceremony was “the best day ever.” It would appear that the couple opted to only have a small ceremony, as Aldean only mentioned having his “girl,” his “friends,” and his “family.”
“Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson were among their guests, in addition to Aldean’s daughters from his previous marriage, Keeley, 12 years old, and Kendyl, seven years old.
“Today has been the best day of my life,” the new Mrs. Aldean chimed in. “I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend.”
Wedding planning was breezy for the couple, as they have only reportedly started on the preparations a couple of months ago.
“It’s coming along,” Aldean told E! Online during last year’s CMT Artist of the Year Awards. He would not dish out any details about their plans, except that it was going to “happen sometime next year.”
Clearly, they have gotten past Aldean’s highly publicized drama with his former wife Jessica Ussery. After being involved in an affair, the country singer separated from Ussery.
“It has been two years of this s***,” Aldean told Billboard “Get over it, already!”
