In a recent interview, rapper Jason Derulo confirmed that he is back in the dating pool after six months since his break-up with singer Jordin Sparks.
According to E! News, Derulo shared in the interview when he was promoting his "Want to Want Me" music video that premiered on Monday morning that he wants somebody that he can talk to and is kind to him. He added that he wants someone who wants to have fun and would like to try new things with him.
Derulo shares that he also does not have a certain type because he sees beauty in all shapes and sizes. He also shared that he does not want a lady who is too extravagant and lavish because he is not that kind of guy. He revealed that he wants a woman who is smart whom he can have an intelligent communication with.
Derulo noted that his album will not be centered on his break-up but there will be songs about it as he confesses that he wrote about the things that happened in his life during the time he came up with the album. Derulo also noted that he has not listened to the new song of his ex, which is basically about him, as he already wanted to start fresh both professionally and personally.
As for Sparks, she actually posted a photo of herself on her social networking site hours after the interview of Derulo came out. She shared that she was happy of the 3:30 am wake up calls and greeted everyone a good morning as she posted a photo of herself waking up from her slumber and showing off her unkempt hair and no make-up at all.
According to Daily Mail, Derulo broke up with Sparks and that he even told her he loved her before they broke up. The split also came as a surprise for Sparks as he did not get in touch with her after the break-up.
