A casting call for a filming in Atlanta is also believed to be part of the upcoming Marvel movie "Black Panther."
Soon, fans will be able to have glimpse of the new superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Other Rumors say that Black Panther will have a cameo in the end credits of the upcoming film "Captain America 3: Civil War," according to Kpop Starz.
Meanwhile, Tammy Smith Casting posted a casting call with a production under the working title "Sputnik." While the post says that the filming location is in Atlanta, it is specifically looking for upscale men and women, military men, African men and women, Southeast Asian men and women, and college students. Further announcement shall be made as necessary, as per the post. The part looking for African men and women is possibly related to the casting of Wakanda natives.
"Black Panther" will center on T'Challa, the prince of the small African island of Wakanda. He must set up to carry on the responsibility of Black Panther after his father's death. The film will be set on the Wakanda, which serves as the superhero's homeland. The island is an abundant source of vibranium, which is a resilient meteoric mineral used to craft Captain America's shield, the lattice in Black Panther's suit, and Ultron's near-indestructibility.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige gave a statement about Black Panther's role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Oct. 28, 2014 at a Marvel fan event. Feige said that Black Panther is going to have a big role, along with
Chadwick Boseman is confirmed to play the role of T'Challa or Black Panther while Andy Serkis is rumored to play the role of Ulysses Klaw. No further details regarding the cast, crew, and plot have been revealed.
"Avengers 2: Age of Utron" is set to hit theaters on May 1, "Captain America 3: Civil War" is to be released on May 6, 2016, and "Black Panther" is set to premiere on Nov. 3, 2017.
