Lil Wayne’s security brutally attacked one of the rappers fans, after the fan mocked Weezy with his iPhone. Apparently, the rapper was a few hours late to his gig at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and this made most of the fans who went to the event agitated.
The agitated fan used his iPhone to show a moving message that said, “Shut the f***up and put on Weezy.” However, after the rapper arrived at 3:30 a.m., when he was supposed to start with his gig at 10:30 p.m., the message only read, “F*** Weezy,” according to a report from TMZ.
Instead of starting the show, Wayne, together with his crew, was spotted sitting around, smoking, and drinking cocktails, while the club’s DJ extended and continued to spin records.
According to Broward Palm Beach, Wayne saw this mockery, called out one of his guards, pointed at the fan with the said iPhone, and sicced the guard to deal with the heckler.
Another fan was situated at the area right above where the incident happened, and was able to catch everything on video. The bulky guard approached the fan with the iPhone and brought him to the floor with two punches to the face, according to NY Daily News.
After the guard had completed what Weezy had ordered him to do, the 32-year-old rapper performed around two songs and then took off, leaving the fans, who had to pay for tickets priced from $80 to $150, to listen to DJ-spun music once again.
