"NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6, Episode 18 aired on Mar. 23 on CBS. This week's new episode starts off with a mysterious woman taking photos of Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen). The case of the week involves a man with a personal vendetta against the U.S. government.
"NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6, Episode 18 has a lot on Kensi and Deeks, but the latter gets more of the spotlight. With the help of Jones (Renée Felice Smith), Hetty (Linda Hunt) leaks out to Deeks a supposedly confidential photo of a woman. Hetty wants to find out what Deeks knows about her.
All Deeks knows is that the same woman took photos of him and Kensi on the same day. Hetty tells him he and Kensi should work separately "for today." Hetty doesn't mention anything about their relationship, and it becomes clear early on that the NCIS manager is concerned about something else.
Also in "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6, Episode 18: Callen (Chris O'Donnell) reminds Deeks there are risks mixing business with pleasure. Sam (LL COOL J) reminds Kensi that things, like kids, could happen without them planning it.
Kensi learns in this week's new episode that Sam is not a fan of her relationship with Deeks, but it's not reason for him to want her or Deeks out of the team. Deeks, meanwhile, learns from Callen that "everyone" knows about their relationship. Perhaps Granger (Miguel Ferrer) is still clueless, though.
Incidentally, LL COOL J shows another impressive stunt on this week's new episode. He works his way out of a moving car through the passenger window while Kensi is driving. He then stretches over into a truck filled with explosives in order to stop two young men from blowing off an FBI building.
Toward the end of "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6, Episode 18, it is revealed that the LAPD is running an investigation into Deeks. Hetty promises she will protect both Deeks and Kensi, but they should "watch the shadows" for the madness behind the investigation is "just the beginning."
