There are speculations that no iOS 8.2 jailbreak will see the light of the day anytime soon due to the lack of update about its release.
The hopes were up since TaiG released jailbreak support for iOS 8.2 Beta 1 and 2. iOS users thought that it will not be long before the Chinese developer will release the jailbreak for the official version of iOS 8.2. When Apple closed the signing of the usage of the beta versions of iOS 8.2, doubts started to emerge.
However, that may not be the case, according to tech website VR-Zone, Apparently, the tools that jailbreakers used in the previous versions of iOS 8 do not work in iOS 8.2. It seemed that Apple have patched the software vulnerabilities that developers exploit in making the jailbreak.
There are whispers claiming that TaiG and other developers should just work on the beta versions of iOS 8.3 as it may put an end again in jailbreaks like what iOS 8.1.3 did to previous jailbreaks.
It was previously reported that iOS jailbreak will be available when Apple officially announce the iOS 8.2. The supposed iOS 8.2 jailbreak release date was moved Mar. 27 at the Mobile Security Summit in Beijing, China. The TaiG group will be participating in the said event.
If you are hoping for the release of iOS 8.2 jailbreak tomorrow, make sure to stay away from the official version of iOS 8.2. Jailbreak developer MuscleNerd posted the same warning on Twitter.
The latest iOS 8.2 was released on Mar. 9 at the press event of Apple Watch and Apple MacBook. Apple confirmed that 77 percent of iOS devices are already running with the latest iOS 8.
