Casting call has been recently given out by the crew of the upcoming biopic film "Steve Jobs." Jobs will be portrayed by actor Michael Fassbender.
Prinicpal photography for the upcoming biopic commenced last January 16 in Los Altos California. Filming took place last month at Opera House, Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall and Civic Center in San Franciso for the sequence involving the 1988 release of the NeXT Computer, as per Macrumors. NeXT is the first computer enhanced by Steve Jobs following his departure from Apple. On one of walls of the venue also hangs a movie poster showing Fassbender as Jobs, striking a post with the said computer.
Filming will proceed this month and Universal Pictures has made a casting call for extras for their filming this weekend, as per 9to5mac. Filming has commenced near the childhood home of the Apple Inc. co-founder and Cupertino, which is proximal to Apple's headquarters. Students from De Anza College were contracted as extras for the filming of the Macintosh and Apple Watch release, which took place at the Flint Center. At present, the studio is filming in San Francisco, California and the casting call will come about at the city center.
The next shooting is scheduled on March 29, Sunday, from 7 AM to 3 PM. The extras will gain privilege including food and drinks, free parking, plus two passes for the movie's premiere, with the opportunity to be seated near actors Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen. Partakers may also win four tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood, an iPad, and other items. Interested people who want to be an extra in the film can sign up in beinamovie.
"Steve Jobs" is an upcoming biographical drama film, which is based on the life of Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs. The film will chronicle on Job's life with emphasis on three distinct product launches and concludes in 1998 with the release of the iMac.
The film will star Fassbender as Jobs, along with Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, Jeff Daniels as John Sculley, Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, Sarah Snook as Andrea "Andy" Cunningham, Adam Shapiro as Avie Tevanian, Perla Haney-Jardine as Ripley Sobo, and John Ortiz as Joel Pforzheimer.
Danny Boyle is set to helm the upcoming film, along with Guymon Casady, Christian Colson, Mark Gordon, and Scott Rudin as co-producers. Aaron Sorkin and Walter Isaacson are set to pen the script.
The film will be produced my Management 360, Scott Rudin Productions, and The Mark Gordon company. It will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
A teaser trailer is planned to be released on June 12, along with "Jurassic World" and on July 17, together with Trainwreck and Ant-Man.
"Steve Jobs" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on October 9. It will hit theaters in the United Kingdom on November 13.
