The actor began the local leg of his tour after 8 p.m. to a half-full theatre supported by his fans. The older audience comprised of many white as well as African Americans listened to Cosby as he began his show with stories of him growing up, of tough love and of his love for pinching coins from the church to buy ice-cream.

At one point in the show a man from one of the front rows shouted "You're a rapist Bill!" Unimpressed loyal fans promptly asked him to "Shut up,, the Daily Mail reported.

Cosby allegedly replied "I am going to handle this the way I want it handled". He also asked the audience to remain calm saying "We are here to enjoy my gift. We are not here to argue. Let those people speak. We will find them and ask them to leave."

The man however remained, and was removed much later, with security trying to find him. He reportedly eventually called them saying "I'm right here", as they escorted him amid much booing from the fans.

Cosby later continued with stories of his childish fighting with his brother, the voices in his head that told him to push his brother down the stairs, and the dominant theme of power imbalance between couples. The crowd cheered and applauded his performance with standing ovations.

Outside however thirty protesters remained in the cold bent on spreading the message of his guilt.

Cosby continued to maintain his innocence. He has not been charged with any crime and his lawyer has dismissed the allegations.
