Some McDonald's branches in the United States are going to give the "all-day-breakfast" menu a try to give customer's request to be having the breakfast menu available any time of the day.
McDonald's branches in the San Diego area are going to give the "all day breakfast" menu available outside its regular breakfast time starting next month. The fast food chain leader wanted to give it a try since many customers are asking for the breakfast menu beyond the breakfast time frame that they are served.
McDonald's disclosed that this test will include menus from the regular breakfast meals like the sandwiches and hash browns. They are yet to tell which breakfast sandwich will be included, USA Today reported.
Breakfast meals enthusiasts have been asking and waiting for this to happen. Many have been craving to have the breakfast meals outside the 10:30 AM time frame. Serving the breakfast and lunch menus at the same time frame are not very feasible due to the limited cooking space.
"We know our customers love McDonald's breakfast and they tell us they'd like to enjoy it beyond the morning hours," McDonald's said in an emailed statement to MarketWatch.
Head of McDonald's USA, Jeff Stratton, explained that the company is looking for possibilities of making the breakfast menu available to the customers at a later time in the day.
This move shows how the restaurant giant is doing its best to get into the same wavelength of the consuming public's shifting habits which include eating routines.
Shares of McDonald's increased 90 cents to $97.86 in afternoon trading, according to Oak Brook, Illinois.
