Teenager Michael Lynch from Texas is confirmed to join the "Teen Wolf" season 5 cast as a Sluagh.
According to a Teen Wolf News report, Michael Lynch will be portraying the new supernatural creature called Sluagh (pronounced sloo-ah). The Sluagh is described as an Irish and Scottish mythological creature that eats the souls of innocent people.
The Sluagh sometimes places the parts of its rotten soul inside the bodies of its sleeping victims. It is further revealed that AT&T #TWCreatureFeature contest winner Jessica Short designed the supernatural creature for "Teen Wolf" Season 5.
16-year-old Lynch was cast through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Lynch completed a prep work for his first day on the "Teen Wolf" Season 5 shoot before filming his scenes as the Sluagh in the upcoming new season.
Lynch excitedly shared on Twitter about meeting the "Teen Wolf" cast members such as Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), Dylan O'Brien (Stiles Stilinski), Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura) and Holland Roden (Lydia Martin).
The Texan teenager tweeted a photo of him with other casts and the caption reads, "Last night I met the Teen Wolf cast".
Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" star Cody Christian has been casted as Theo, a senior student and lone werewolf drawn to the supernatural world of Beacon Hills in search of a pack.
"Teen Wolf" character Liam Dunbar (Dylan Sprayberry) will have a love interest in the upcoming new season of the MTV series. Actress Victoria Morales has been cast to portray the potential love interest of the Beta werewolf.
Sprayberry confirmed at the PaleyFest about the addition of young actress Victoria Morales on the show. The 16-year-old "Man of Steel" star further teased that Morales' character will be in the same grade as Liam and his best friend Mason (Khylin Rambo).
"So we'll see what happens with that," Sprayberry added. Fans of the supernatural MTV series will get to know the new characters when "Teen Wolf" season 5 premieres in June.
