Lena Dunham fans have two things to anticipate from the "Girls" star, her guest appearance on "The Simpsons" season 27 and the short film she is directing, which will star Sandra Bullock's "Our Brand Is Crisis" co-actress Zoe Karan.
In January, Dunham recorded a guest role for the first episode of "The Simpsons" season 27 titled "Every Man's Dream," Entertainment Weekly reported.
In the season premiere of Fox's hit animated comedy, Dunham's role Candace, a twenty-something pharmacist, becomes a love interest of Homer, whose marriage to Marge is on the rocks once again.
"The Simpsons" season 27 episode 1 "Every Man's Dream" will air on Sept. 27.
Also, Dunham is set to direct "Vote Audrey," a short film that will feature a new clothing line designed by Rachel Antonoff, her boyfriend Jack Antonoff's sister.
"The story for the film was all Lena," Rachel told Style. "She came up with the idea, and we all loved it immediately. I feel films are such a good way to bring people into the world we see the clothes living in. It's really the one opportunity to present the big picture."
In "Vote Audrey," Kazan's character will go on the campaign trail wearing pieces from & Other Stories, retailer H&M's sister brand.
The release date of "Vote Audrey" is yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, the full collection for & Other Stories will hit stores on May 12.
Aside from Dunham's short film, Kazan will also co-star with Bullock and Angelina Jolie's former husband Billy Bob Thornton in the comedy drama "Our Brand Is Crisis," which will be directed by David Gordon Green and written by Peter Straughan.
