Israeli officials are calling out on the six world powers that are negotiating with Iran regarding the nuclear deal as they call on changes about the agreements that have been announced last week.
The intelligence chief of Israel identified as Yuval Steinitz said in a statement that there are still alternatives aside from the agreements so that the deal can be wholly trusted not only by the six world powers but also other countries fearing that Iran's nuclear projects will be a threat, according to The New York Times.
In response, United States President Barack Obama shared that they already have a back-up plan if Iran decides to violate the agreements made as the United States and the other world powers will not allow them to have nuclear weapons that could threaten other countries.
The latest reaction of Israel contains detailed information about the research programs and military initiatives of Iran in the past years. Israel then demanded that Iran should cease their nuclear researches and ongoing development activities as well as remove their uranium stockpile that they are storing.
However, Obama reacted to this saying that Israel is again opposing a diplomatic deal that could be reached anytime soon despite the deadline being extended again.
The Wall Street Journal also reported that Israel is not alone on this issue as the Republican Congress echoed the sentiments presented by Steinitz. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky could either oppose the deal or impose new sanctions on Iran.
Aside from Israel, Saudi Arabia is also cautious of the nuclear deal as they want to make sure that a nuclear bomb being developed by Iran is not possible at all. In a statement, officials of Saudi Arabia said that whatever deal the U.S. and the other world powers will be able to finally agree on, they will counter the nuclear availability in Iran as these will be funded by the rich families of the said country.
