Mega star Justin Bieber has jumped on the bandwagon of ongoing lip syncing trend. The singer looked absolutely unrecognizable as he donned heavy eyeliner and a wig to impersonate the famous heavy metal star, Ozzy Osbourne, in the upcoming episode of "Lip Sync Battle."
Bieber showed some serious mimicry skills as he tried to lip sync the hit number "Crazy Train," just like the 66-year-old rocker. Bieber tried to copy the rock star of yesteryears with the help of heavy guy liner, rocker's trademarked messy long tresses and leather jacket.
The silver jewellery and an intentionall wide eyed expression made the "Baby" hit maker look as if he is on the verge of insanity. Daily Mail complimented the 21-year-old singer for his rocking performance by saying that one could almost believe that it is the actual star Osbourne who was performing on stage. Bieber's hilariously brilliant impersonation of the popular rocker is a must watch on the coming episodes of "Lip Sync Battle." However, the episode does not yet have a scheduled airdate yet. Meanwhile, watch the preview below.
The show is said to be adapted from a regularly played game on the show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." Two celebrities compete against each other by performing lip syncing on the given popular numbers by the hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen. Lip syncing has to be complimented by contestant's attire, prop usage and stage mannerism.
Bieber was definitely successful in nailing Osbourne's mannerism and stage presence, ET Online reported. This might be due to the fact that the star has a first hand experience of working with the Prince of Darkness. Bieber and Osbourne had worked together in a 2011 Super Bowl ad, in which the rocker famously said, "What's the f**k a Bieber?"
Osbourne is a notorious name in the world of heavy rock music. The rocker rose to fame in 1970s due to his association with the band Black Sabbath. He left the band in 1979, but still enjoyed a successful solo career. The rocker is monikered as "Godfather of Heavy Metal" due to his prolonged and influential career in music.
