"American Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson is confirmed to perform a track from the hit TV series "Empire," at this year's TV Land Awards.
Hudson will be performing the track, "Whatever Makes You Happy," which was featured in the season one soundtrack of the "Empire."
TV Land confirmed the news via Twitter and wrote, "TV Land Awards will feature a special musical guest. Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson will perform 'Whatever Makes You Happy' from 'Empire's' season 1 soundtrack."
This year's awards show will be hosted by Terry Crews and will feature a special tribute to the late Joan Rivers, who passed away last year, The Grape Juice reported.
TV Land Awards will also honor "Hot in Cleveland" star and legendary actress Betty White and other celebrities including Donny and Marie Osmond, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The show was already taped over the weekend at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills and will air this coming Sunday, Apr. 18 at 9 p.m. Simulcasts on Nickelodeon and NickMom will also be available.
According to sources, other shows that will be honored on Sunday include NBC's "Parenthood," "Ally McBeal" and "The Wonder Years."
Several original cast members from the shows mentioned above will also be awarded that night.
"Ally McBeal" star Calista Flockhart will reportedly make her first public appearance at the event, following husband Harrison Ford's plane crash.
