Music giant Billboard announced its nominations for 2015 Billboard Music Awards .
The announcement is done by returning BBMA host Ludacris and Fall Out Boy member Pete Wentz on the show Good Morning America.
Ludacris and Wentz announced the top five categories on the show while the complete nominations list was announced at a press conference later by co-host Chrissy Teigen and Jussie Smollett, Forbes reported. The show will air live on Sunday, May 17th starting at 8 PM EST on ABC.
Mega star Taylor Swift has broken all records and is topping the charts with 14 nominations in her kitty including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist and many more. In fact, the 25-year-old singer has been nominated in every category except for those reserved for the other gender.
Swift is closely followed by Sam Smith with 13 nominations in his name. Swift's "1989" will clash with Smith's album "In the Lonely Hour" for the top album prize. Other musicians nominated for top artist are Pop star Katy Perry, British band One Direction and singer Ariana Grande.
