The countdown for the arrival of the second royal baby has started with full boom. Duchess Kate Middleton will give birth to her second baby this weekend, says one of the Britain's biggest bookmakers.
"The birth could happen any minute now," Rupert Adams, spokesman of William Hill told People. "There is a real chance that Prince William and Kate will be the proud parents of a second child come midnight on Sunday."
William Hill has predicted the birth of the second royal baby in odds to 7-1. Also, in baby names, Alice is still leading the race followed by Elizabeth, Charlotte, Victoria and Alexandra.
Although Duke and Duchess have not found out whether they are having a boy or girl, the enthusiasts are majorly backing on the baby girl this time for the royal family.
Meanwhile, the scene outside the Lindo wing of St Mary's hospital, where the Duchess is scheduled to get admitted once she goes into labour, remains calm and seemingly normal except a few groups of fans and curious onlookers, Mirror reported.
Apart from the recently posted parking restriction notice and metal crowd barriers to keep away the prying paparazzi from the maternity ward, there is no major VIP movement in the area.
Middleton's first child, Prince George, was also born in the same hospital so was her husband and brother-in-law, Prince Harry.
On the other hand, British financial experts are forecasting an economic boom with the arrival of the second royal baby. Michael Ingram, economist at BGC Partners in London's financial district of Canary Wharf, has predicted that the safe arrival of the royal baby will have a positive impact on the U.K. economy as it will trigger the feel good factor in the society. Consumers are expected to spend a little extra in retail outlets, resturaunts and gift shops.
