"The Voice" judge Blake Shelton, 38, recently joked that he and "Drink A Beer" singer Luke Bryan, 38, are smart enough to host the 50th Annual Academy Of Country Music (ACM) on April 19, Sunday, ABC News reported.
"We're the only two in country music that can read," Shelton quipped. "I'm telling you. Have you met some of these artists? God almighty. (They are) idiots."
It is Shelton and Bryan's third time to host the ACM. According to Shelton, the talent line-up will have "the biggest stars in country music," which includes his wife Miranda Lambert.
"When I say biggest stars, I mean from past, present, future," Shelton said. "It's all gonna come together."
Aside from hosting, Shelton and Bryan will also perform at the ACM with Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and "American Idol 2015" judge Keith Urban.
Also in the line-up are Reba, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Florida Georgia Line, Brooks & Dunn, Little Big Town, Dan + Shay, Nick Jonas and new artist nominees Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.
Shelton's fellow "The Voice" judge Christina Aguilera will also perform a duet with Rascal Flatts.
Meanwhile, Bryan has recently joked about Shelton's butt and belly.
"The best thing about Blake is that at different points of his life, his butt has been bigger than his belly (while) at other times, his belly is bigger than his butt," Bryan told People.
The 50th ACM will be held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
